What retired "Geeks" do to expand their world in retirement.
No matter how patient one is, crabs never smile! Maybe this was the first real lesson Dean learned in photography.
After several years at Purdue (Go Boilers!) and 36 years working the in the Aeronautical Engineering world, Dean stepped into retirement. Not long after that, Sue left the Analytical Chemistry world of industry (as well as several years at Purdue and UC) to join the ranks of the retired.
That gave both of us an opportunity to turn the page (or graduate as some may say) and pursue interests that may have been dormant (or suppressed) during those working career years..
For Dean, one interest has been photography. What you will find on this site are selections for photos that seem intriguing. Lots of traveling provides lots of opportunities. Alas, ‘digital’ photography provides lots of ‘stuff’. Hopefully I am picking out some of the “good stuff”.
For Sue, one interest has become blogging about the trips we take (as well as photography). It provides Sue with a way to share what we see during travels as well how it affects us. And as time goes on, it helps us remember what we did.
